UPDATE (11:30 AM Central, 3/22/23): Forward Madison soccer team has generously donated 50 pairs of grandstand reserved tickets for their home opener on April 15th vs. Greenville Triumph at 6 pm.!

Everyone who donates to the PTG GoFundMe going forward will receive a pair of tickets while supplies last*.

The children of Madison’s near east side are fortunate to have neighborhood schools like Lapham and Marquette that provide high-quality learning experiences. For years, the Lapham Marquette Parent Teacher Group has played an active role in supporting the success of our schools.

As our schools and schools across the country face new challenges like staff retention and Covid learning loss, the role of Lapham Marquette’s PTG is more crucial than ever. We provide a place for caregivers to come together to give extra support to students, teachers, and families, ensuring that school staff feels supported and appreciated, that classrooms have the extra resources they need, and that at-risk families can meet basic needs in times of crisis.

Our PTG focuses our support on equitable and inclusive efforts, helping ensure that every student in our dynamic community has a chance to enjoy and participate in all of the programs and learning experiences Lapham and Marquette have to offer.

The PTG has always relied on the generosity of our community of parents and caretakers, extended family, neighbors, parents of alumni, and others to fund our important work. This online appeal is our single biggest opportunity to ensure we will be able to support a range of important programs for the 2023/24 academic year.

We are asking for your help so we can continue to fund our traditional efforts like:

School gardening and outdoor education programs for all students across both schools
School pride t-shirts for all incoming students
Teacher & Staff Appreciation
Grants for special projects and needs, like supplies for classroom projects, learning resources, and special in-school events
School community-building family events like the ice cream social
Families Helping Families mutual aid fund that provides short-term aid like cab fare and rent assistance for at-risk families
Field trip transportation
