Good morning everyone! 

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the passing away of Long Nguyen, a dear son, brother, and friend to all. He was found during finals week at his apartment. He had been attending the University of Texas at Austin as a double major in psychology and neuroscience with a minor in computer science. He had plans to go to medical school to become a neurosurgeon after he graduated. 

He passed away suddenly due to illness and we are all shocked. Please, never hesitate to ask for help or go to the doctors/hospitals when you are sick. Especially for college students who are stressed and going through finals, please do not let your health be a second priority to your grades. Downplaying an issue might cost you what it has cost us. 

Any donations will be greatly appreciated. They will go towards Long’s funeral and memorial. Any money left over will go towards educating others on preventative medicine and how to take care of yourself through hard times. 

We will miss his sass, his goofiness, and kind, selfless heart. He will be missed to all who knew him. If any of you know him personally and have any videos or pictures please email them to:
