Hi, my name is Hailey and I have started this fundraiser to help raise funds to support my family in paying for a surgery my dog needs.

My dog, Milton, is 9.5 years old and up until recently he still had the energy of a puppy. All of the sudden that changed. He was no longer himself and we could tell he was in pain. We brought him to 3 different veterinarians to try to figure out what was wrong, but none of them could. He’s been put on different rounds of antibiotics, steroids, and anti-inflammatories but none of it has worked.

Finally, the 4th veterinarian we saw found the problem but the only way to fix it would be through surgery. If I’m being honest, I struggle to explain what the problem is because I don’t fully understand it myself. I know it has something to do with a leaking gland that is causing inflammation and pushing on his throat which is making it harder for him to breathe and causing pain.

The funds raised will all go directly towards paying for this surgery, as well as any other medical expenses that may arise for Milton.
