RIP mommy. Helping Sylwia's family
Donation protected
My name is Magdalena Gubernat. I live in Howard Beach, New York with my husband Marcin Gubernat. I am raising money to help the family of Sylwia Ostrowska, who was my husband's cousin. All money raised will be sent to Sylwia's husband Lukasz to help with funeral expenses and living/childcare expenses for the near future. The money will be withdrawn from this campaign and will be sent to Lukasz via Western Union.
Sylwia died on October 6th, 2016 at 10 AM. She left behind a loving husband and 3 little kids, 3 week old Krzysiu, 1 year old Karina and 7 year old Maja.
Sylwia and Lukasz come from a small town of Wola Zglobienska, near Rzeszow, in Poland.
Sylwia was a happy and bright 27 year old mother and wife. She was loving and caring, and was a stay at home mom to her two girls, one year old Karina and 7 year old Maja. Her and her husband Lukasz were very happy when they found out that they were expecting another baby, as they always wanted a big family. Sylwia was told she was having another girl. On September 13, 2016, life surprised Sylwia and Lukasz when she delivered a happy and healthy little boy, which they named Krzysztof. The girls were excited to welcome their little brother. Sylwia's life was complete. She had a wonderful and supportive husband and three beautiful healthy children.
2 days after delivery, Sylwia was discharged from the hospital. Shortly after her arrival at home, she started feeling ill. She began having shortness of breath, headaches and unusally large amounts of post-partum bleeding. Lukasz quickly drove her to the hospital in Rzeszow, where she lost consciousness and had to be recussitated. Sylwia was then disgnosed with pulmonary embolism. (A very large blood clot had traveled into her lungs) Sylwia was placed on life support and faught for her life for the next 3 weeks. Lukasz stayed home from work to care for Sylwia and their three children. Sylwia passed away on October 6th, 2016 at 10AM after a very difficult battle.
Please help Lukasz and his family with Sylwia's funeral expenses and to help them get through the next few months which will be extremely difficult. Lukasz is a sole provider for the family, and he will need to stay home to take care of the children.
Every dollar counts. Other donations in form of clothing or school supplies are also greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your help and support, and please say a prayer for Sylwia and Lukasz and for their babies.
