2020 Trip To Cambodia- Heart Mothers

Hello, my name is Ruth Williams, President and founder of Heart Mothers (heartmothers.net). We are a group of over seventy ladies who write monthly, send gifts and supplies, and raise money for a group of rescued child survivors of sex trafficking and abuse in Cambodia, ranging from three to eighteen years old. I began Heart Mothers in 2006 to assist the AMAZING Somaly Mam and her team AFESIP (afesip.org) in providing love and emotional support.
We travel to Cambodia once a year, bringing the girls the love of their Heart Mothers and luggage full of supplies and gifts (please see how much we can fit in our luggage from the photo below!) We spend our time getting to know them, making crafts and gathering information for their Heart Mothers.
As we are not paid traveling is a big expense so we are asking for help with traveling expenses. Any amount of money that is donated will be used for traveling expenses and any extra for supplies for the girls.
Six of us will be travelling the beginning of March.
For the girls' privacy and protection we are not able to post their photo's, but they are brave, sweet and lovely despite what they've been through. Under the direction of Somaly the girls receive education, life skills and confidence that will greatly impact their future.

years now, and it means the world to be able to visit her.
