We are Semper Fi Legacy Rescue and we are always striving to live up to the legacy of Mark Hagenauer, one animal at a time.
We always want to help animals in need but don't always have enough resources to do so. With your donations we will be able to help more animals and continue helping the animals currently in our care.
Some of our current dogs and their stories:
Stewie:
Stewie is a sweet 1yr old beagle. We recently rescued him from the shelter and placed him in a foster home. He is heart worm positive. He is now the 4th dog that we have that is heart worm positive. Heart worm treatment is a long and expensive process but it is a life saving process.
Freddy:
Freddy is a old Shih Tzu mix. He was severely matted when he was taken into the shelter and after being shaved there were of course skin issues and infections discovered. He had lost one of his eyes at some point and it clearly wasn't done surgically. His empty eye socket is infected and to top it all off this poor guy caught a cold at the shelter. He is currently in a foster hospice home who is helping to get him healthy again.
Puppies! Rowen(white&grey), Ryder(white&black), and Rusty(tricolor)
These sweet puppies were rescued from the shelter. Luckily they hadn't caught a cold, but Ryder made sure things weren't too simple. He had a big umbilical hernia.
These are just some of our many sweet dogs. There are many others. Some with complicated stories and some with the basic rescue story. All were is need of help and there are many more like them. Please consider donating so that we can continue to help the many animals in need.
