I still remember what it felt like to be young—full of potential, but unsure how to take the next step. For so many students in our community, that’s the reality. They have the heart, the vision, and the talent... but not always the resources or access.

At the RRF Foundation, we see that potential every day. Our students are brilliant. They are leaders. They are builders. They just need the chance to prove it.

That’s why we created this summer internship program—not just as a job, but as a launchpad.

This year, 12 college students—future lawyers, economists, marketers, public health leaders, and mental health advocates—are working together to design and launch a real mobile app focused on youth mental health. It’s their vision, their creativity, and their voices leading the way.

But here’s the best part: while they learn to code, collaborate, and lead, they’re also earning money that goes directly toward college savings and educational expenses.

For many of them, this isn’t just extra income—it’s their first paycheck, their first time seeing their ideas come to life, and a critical first step toward higher education and long-term success.

What Your Donation Supports

We’re raising $30,000 to fully support 12 student interns through our “Sponsor a Future Leader” campaign.

Each student will receive:

$2,500 — A summer stipend that covers both their internship work and helps build their college savings

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young adults, and mental health challenges are at an all-time high. Anxiety, depression, and stress are pushing students to their breaking points, yet many don’t seek help due to stigma, cost, or lack of access. At the same time, young adults aged 15-24 account for over 50% of gonorrhea cases and other rising sexual health concerns—yet many feel uncomfortable or uneducated about seeking help.

We are building KindConnect, a secure, AI-powered telehealth platform that provides tiered mental health and sexual health support for students—anytime, anywhere. Our platform connects young people to licensed therapists, medical doctors, and peer mentors in a structured, three-tiered system designed to meet students exactly where they are.

The Game Changer – Doctors, psychiatrists, and licensed clinicians available for diagnosis, treatment plans, and medication management for students who need medical-level intervention. As well as post education resources and same day prescriptions
