I am Elijah Williams, a high school student that goes to St. Stephen Episcopal in Austin, Texas. This year, my biology teacher has alerted me about some of the troubling problems our environment faces. After doing some deeper research on the matter, I now realize that there are a lot of troubling environmental problems. Things like pollution and extreme weather disasters are reeking havoc on the economy, the planet and overall, people's lives. At first I was scared to death, I was so worried about these problems, but now I realize that there are many people out there, similar to me, who will do what they have to for the future. You can be one of those people. I am raising money for the Environmental Defense Fund, a charity that solves these problems. Even by donating the smallest amounts of money, you are changing the future for the better. I also encourage you to do little things to decrease your carbon footprint everyday. I can't stress how important addressing these problems are. Be The Change!

My name is Ian Kim, I'm in fourth grade, and I'm 10 years old. Just lately, I've been inspired by a quote by David Attenborough which says, "Are we happy that our grandchildren will only be able to see an elephant in a picture book?" So I didn't just want to sit there and do nothing, so I went to make a fundraiser for the Environmental Defense Fund. Any donation will help the world take a step to a better and safer world. Hello, my name is Phin Morrissey, and for too long we have let climate change reduce our quality of life and our children's quality of life. Think about it, right now, from the hurricanes in North Carolina, to the heat waves across the country, climate change is making its move. The governmental efforts alone are not enough.
