have a heart for jake

Jake is a 15 month old pug . I got jake when he was 8 weeks old . jake is my companion , my therapeutic dog , my best pal . December 8th I was taking jake for his nightly walk and a SUV that was dangerously speeding down the street ran my baby over and just kept going . didn't even care to stop . they did not even have the heart to make sure my baby boy was okay . jake is a very loving outgoing friendly dog . will light in up anybody's day . he is the joy in my life . without my jake , I am nothing . jake is now at VCA Hollywood animal hospital and has to have his leg amputated . at the moment he won't eat , he won't drink , he is so sad and I know all he wants is to be okay and be home with me .I am disabled , handicaped and on a fixed income . I can not affored to pay for his surgery all by myself . if I can not afford this surgery they are going to put jake to sleep and I will never have my baby home with me again , I can't not live without my jake . jake has to have the surgery done by December 12th , if I can't afford to pay for the surgery they will put him to sleep and I will be so devastated . please help my baby jake , anything will help . anything is appreciated . please help bring my jake home . I have posted 2 pictures of my jake before this devistation and after these horrible people hit my baby.
