My name is Ka’Juel J. Washington and I’m a candidate for Orlando City Commissioner in District 6. I am a resident of Washington Shores and I want to change my community, but I need your help. Running a grassroots campaign is expensive. Any contribution amount would help and I would greatly appreciate your support.
Let me tell you a little about me as a candidate, about my campaign agenda and about the community I want to serve. I’ve been married for fourteen (14) years and we have four (4) beautiful children together, including a daughter at Jones High School. After proudly serving in the U.S. military, I was accepted into Florida A&M University for undergrad and for law school. I now work as a Professor at Florida A&M University College of Law. My work there entails providing free legal services to the poor and to the homeless. I’ve dedicated my career to serving the legal needs of my community.
My campaign agenda is simple. The issues of the citizens are the issues I will champion. The residents of District 6 have concerns about:
· Municipal services
· Juvenile issues
· Safer neighborhoods and
· Economic opportunities.
It takes a plan and the people’s help, it takes creative thinking and it also takes hard work to address these issues and to move District 6 forward to prosperity and advancement. I’m that candidate and I have the tools I need from years of experience to bring the change needed to the District.
Lastly, let me tell you a little bit about my community. It’s historic and long standing. The people here are diverse and hard-working. Friendly and church-loving, the citizens here are what make this city special. We are the spokes on the ever turning wheel of the City Beautiful. I wish to serve these families and individuals in a capacity that they’ve never experienced before.
Please Support my campaign and by doing so, you also support the blue-collar, hard-working spirit of District 6 in Orlando.
Thank you, God Bless and let’s move forward for District 6 together.
