As many of you know, I am Sharon King, a widow navigating the profound grief of losing my beloved husband, Lionel Thivierge. The past few years have been an unimaginable nightmare, with loss after loss weighing heavy on my heart.

Homelessness, estrangement from family, and financial struggles have compounded this pain. Yet, in the midst of this turmoil, I have found solace in writing. My experiences, poetry, and reflections have become a lifeline, not only for myself but for others who may be enduring similar trials.

It is my intention to honor Lionel’s memory and provide comfort and understanding to other widows who feel lost and abandoned. The urgency of this request stems from the significance of my publication date: August 28th, marking the fourth memorial of Lionel’s passing.
