Today Lily reached a massive milestone! ️ Back on December 24, 2025, Lily had a severe allergic reaction to one of her IV chemos (Calpeg). Because of that, her medical team had to switch her to Rylaze—which meant moving from an IV to painful chemo shots. Today, Lily received her 36th and final dose of Rylaze! It is heartbreaking to watch her go through so much, but Lily has been incredibly brave through every single shot. While this doesn’t mean she is completely done with chemotherapy, we are celebrating this huge victory today. We are so proud of our little warrior. Clinic surprised Lily with heart confetti to celebrate. She is literally surrounded by so much love. Thank you all for your continued love, prayers, and support!

Lily started home instruction school and is doing very well. She loves her teacher. Lily still gets chemo about 3x a week, and it should slow down end of October and we’re optimistic she will return to school in November. Just two more months till she’s in the maintenance phase !!! We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your support.

Hi all. We hope everyone had a wonderful summer. Lily started her DI phase of chemotherapy in July. We luckily managed to stay out of the hospital up until this past Tuesday where she was admitted because she developed a high fever (102.7) which is dangerous for someone who is neutropenic as she is. They gave her around the clock antibiotics and watched closely. Very happy to say her blood cultures came back negative for growth, which was a great sign. She did test positive for rhinovirus, so that’s probably what her body was fighting. We were discharged on Friday. Very happy to be home. This summer, we really couldn’t do much because of her low counts, but we made the best of it at home with lots of crafts. September is right around the corner and Lily will start Home Instruction school. While I’m grateful we are able to receive school at home, I’m a little sad that she won’t be able to be with her friends. She misses her classmates so much. But this isn’t forever.
