<div>The goal of this fundraiser is to help me finally build real stability, independence, and access to life-saving medical care as I start over on my own.

<div>After years of enduring emotional abuse, medical neglect, and instability, I recently made the hardest decision of my life to leave my family home. Staying meant continuing to sacrifice my health, my safety, and my future. Leaving means starting from nothing… but choosing a chance at life.

<div>I am currently battling stage 4 cancer while trying to rebuild from the ground up &amp; need stable transportation, to afford basic needs, &amp; dependable financial support until I'm stronger to work.
</div>

<div><strong>My main goals are:</strong>

<div>• Raise $15,000 for a reliable vehicle by Summer 2026 so I can consistently attend medical appointments and regain basic independence

<div>• Raise the remaining $50,000 by the end of 2026 to begin treating my other autoimmune issues making my health worse the longer the go untreated, have stability till I can have stable income &amp; health insurance, strength building till i can get surgeries or radiation therapy, and recovery.

<div><strong>My Cancer Journey &amp; Testimony</strong>

<div>My name is Shaddai, and I have been fighting stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer (NET) for nearly seven years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was only 15 years old when doctors discovered a large tumor in my small intestine that had already spread to my liver, with numerous tumors throughout it. I'm 23 now. This form of cancer is extremely rare, especially at my age and severity. Doctors believe I may have lived with it for most of my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over time, without proper treatment and while living in high-stress, unstable conditions, the cancer progressed and began affecting my heart, causing carcinoid heart disease, severe fatigue, and hormonal complications even though my condition remains stable for now till a solid care plan with stability can be made.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I also live with multiple autoimmune diseases, including lupus, arthritis, asthma, and chronic anemia, which cause daily pain, low blood pressure and weakness. Even though outwardly I look young and health my condition silently causes pain &amp; steals normalcy from my life.
</div>

<div>Despite everything, I have continued to fight.
</div>

</div>
<div>For years, I was and have only been able to receive monthly injections meant to keep the cancer stable not treat it. I have survived this long not because I’ve without receiving full treatment, but by God’s grace.

<div>Now, I am trying to finally reach a place where I can begin the treatments I’ve needed for years and have a real chance at healing not just surviving day to day.

<div><strong>My Life Beyond Cancer</strong>

<div>Cancer has not been my only battle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For years, I lived in an environment of emotional abuse, control, isolation, and medical neglect especially from the person who was supposed to care for me.
</div>

</div>
<div>I gave everything I had my time, my energy, my finances to support my family, especially during periods of homelessness and instability. I used my disability income, medical support, and outside help to keep a roof over us and ensure my siblings had what they needed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I believed that if I sacrificed enough, things would get better.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Instead, I was met with rejection, control, exclusion and isolation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When I tried to advocate for my health or basic needs, I was labeled “difficult” or “disrespectful.” I wasn’t allowed access to consistent treatment the way I need or support, and over time my health physical &amp; mentally got worse, I became more ignored, excluded, isolated from my family and anyone who tried to help limited by my mom's rules and control over me.

<div>I was pulled out of school, restricted from normal life experiences, and spent years confined mostly to home and hospitals.
</div>

</div>
<div>Even while my health declined, I was expected to continue giving without receiving the care I needed in return and treated as a inconvenience or problem the more I asked for basic support or care.
</div>

<div><strong> Leaving abuse &amp; starting over:</strong>

<div>Recently, I made the decision to leave.
</div>

<div>It was not easy and it was not something I wanted.
</div>

</div>
<div>But I realized that staying meant continuing to allow forced delays to any real treatment plan to get healthier or stronger &amp; not just being stable surviving. Always being to weak physically for a normal life, continue being neglected, and to continue sacrificing my life just to survive in an environment that was harming me just because I was desperate to hang on to the little care I could afford to get to locally and for my family to treat me like a human not forever forcing me to live in silence and neglect.

<div>Leaving meant choosing to fight for more for my health even if I would be hard. Choosing to hope for a better future even with uncertainty or support .Choosing a chance to live even if it seemed impossible.

<div>But it also meant freedom &amp; starting over completely even if having to struggle more than I've ever had before not being able to afford basic needs and getting to appointments.
</div>

<div>Right now, I am in a very vulnerable position.

<div>My housing situation is still fragile

<div>I cannot work due to my health, mental and physical limitations to maintain taking care of myself and trying to push myself to work when having enough energy cooking a meal or shower is already a daily battle.

<div>I have limited access to consistent care and resources
</div>

<div>I've never completed school &amp; have no work experience
</div>

<div>My church community has helped where they can, but I cannot depend on temporary help long-term.

<div>I am doing everything I can to rebuild but without the basics, it is incredibly difficult to move forward.

<div>• Most importantly, it will give me the chance to finally focus on healing physically, mentally, and emotionally so I can work and have consistent income.
