URGENT: Help Texas Flood Victims Rebuild Their Lives Hello everyone, my name is Jonathan Roution, and I’m from Kentucky. I may live hundreds of miles from Texas, but my heart is with the people there right now — people I’ve connected with over the years through church, work, travel, and online communities. I’ve built real relationships with families in Texas, and watching them suffer from these catastrophic floods has been absolutely heartbreaking. Right now, entire communities are underwater. Families have been forced from their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Many have lost everything — their homes, vehicles, medications, food, and even access to clean water. I started this fundraiser because I couldn’t sit by and do nothing while people I care about are in crisis.
