I’m a husband, a father, and a son doing my best to care for my family through an incredibly difficult time. Not long ago, my mother lost my father. Since then, she has been fighting Alzheimer’s and has had stents put in her heart five times. She depends on me completely to get her to her constant doctor’s appointments. At the same time, I’m doing my best to support my wife and child at home. Right now, we have no vehicle and living 32 miles from the nearest town makes this an emergency. Without reliable transportation, it’s almost impossible to get my mother the care she needs, provide for my wife and child, and keep our household going.
