<div>Hello and thank you for taking the time to help my 2 year old pup, Bruno. He was struck by a car last night and suffered a fractured leg. The driver drove off and he has a broken radius and ulna. He is currently at Flannery Animal Hospital. The current cost of treatment is $3,100 and once discharged, we have to take him immediately to an ortho consult which can be upwards of another $4,000-$7,000 just for his surgery not including treatment after. Unfortunately my husband and I have no time to prepare for any treatment as expenses are increasing daily. I am currently out of work and pregnant with our first baby due in February. We don't have the funds for these expenses and I would hate to have him put down or give him away over this. He is a young energetic dog with plenty of life left in him. Again thank you for clicking on his page and any help is appreciated for our family.

Please help Bruno

This is “Tank”. He is a 10 year old German Shepard who served as a K-9 police dog with The Warwick Police Department for 9 years. He and his Partner, Vincent Cossentino (who served for 24 years), retired together 4 weeks ago.

While enjoying retirement, Tank unexpectedly injured his knee. He will now need surgery with bills estimated to cost around $10,000. His surgery date is set for 6/3/21

Tank is not just a dog. He is a well- know public figure in our local community. Tank is a loyal partner and family member. He is an important part of the Cossentino family and is loved tremendously by them as well as the community.

Unexpected vet bills are a financial strain to so many. This GoFundMe was created in attempt to give back to this special animal who gave most of his life serving others- and with the hopes it will help bring the health and happiness he so deserves.
