<div>Danielle Starbeck, my godmother, has endured more than most people could imagine. She lost her beloved daughter to a drunk driver, a tragedy that would break anyone’s heart. Even after experiencing homelessness herself, Danielle has always put others first, offering help and kindness to those around her no matter how difficult her own circumstances became. Her resilience and compassion are truly inspiring, but the weight of her struggles has become overwhelming, and she is now reaching a very dark point in her life.

These are not just comforts, but necessities that can help her regain stability and hope.

<div>Today, I was walking around in a grocery store parking lot when I was going to approach a man by his car and ask him for some help. But before I could even say anything, he said he knew me! He shared how recently God had been leading him to watch my videos, and he didn’t want to act like he didn’t know me but told the truth! He then shared how he, his wife, their 1-year-old daughter, and their dog have been living in their car after they lost their home for 2 years. I felt so compelled by his honesty that I gave him $1,000 and encouraged him to continue to trust God and share the good news of Jesus everywhere they go!

Get Pastor Will’s Family Off The Streets ❤️

My name is Marilyn Marzella, and I’m reaching out because I’m currently stranded in the Houston area after a series of unexpected complications. I was honored to be chosen by curator Lisa Volpe of the Museum of Fine Arts for FOTOFEST, one of only ten photographers selected for the Throughline Gallery. While this was an incredible opportunity, it has come with significant costs, and I had hoped a sale would help cover my expenses by now. Unfortunately, things haven’t gone as planned.

 On top of travel and lodging expenses, I’ve faced a string of challenges at home. My washer, dryer, two heaters, and toaster oven all broke down suddenly, and my car was stolen several years ago, used for joyriding, and returned in poor condition. It now needs a new engine, and I can’t trust it for travel. Each trip to Houston has been costly, and moving between motels has added up quickly. I’ve even had to wait for AAA late at night, sometimes in the rain, just to get back safely.

 Right now, my top priority is getting home. The costs of transportation, lodging, and trying to manage everything on my own have become overwhelming. I’m also working on completing an archaeology film about the origin of Mayan Civilization, but I need Non-Linear Editing equipment to finish it. I’m also running my small business, FloEsse SuperBlends, but these projects have had to take a back seat while I focus on getting home safely.

 There are more issues I’m facing, and I’ll addend to this story later as things develop. If you can help, I would be so grateful. Your support will help me cover urgent travel expenses, manage some of the unexpected costs that have piled up, and help me purchase the equipment I need to complete my film.
