<div>Hedda Falcon has always been the one others depend on—a devoted teacher, loving mother, and the heart of our family. She has spent her life caring for others, both in her classroom and at home.

<div>On February 11, what was meant to be a routine outpatient procedure became a life-altering medical crisis. Due to a medical error, her intestines were accidentally punctured and left undiagnosed for days. By February 16, she required emergency surgery.

<div>Since then, she has been hospitalized for nearly two months and has endured serious complications, including a major surgical wound, pulmonary embolism, fluid in her lungs, severe nerve damage in her leg, and multiple other ongoing medical challenges. She is now facing a long and difficult road to recovery, including relearning how to walk, stand on her own, and really just regaining her independence as a whole.

Help Beloved Teacher Recover After Devastating Medical Error

<div>On January 17, 2023 we lost our beloved Alberto Bhoge unexpectedly, tragically, heartbreakingly at the age of 38. If you were lucky enough to meet Berto, chances are high that he was the best person you ever met and you have stories of him full of smiles, laughter, and fun. Good at everything he did, excellent even, while being kind, genuine, energetic, caring, thoughtful, and also irreverently hilarious. With his passing, the world lost a soldier, an engineer, a musician, an athlete, a special agent, an inspiration, a beacon of light. His family lost a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, cousin, uncle. So many of us lost an amazing, committed, life-long friend and supporter. He is irreplaceable.

<span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);">Panky is our 4 year old daschund that has hurt his back. We have tried many medications to try and heal him but unfortunately he has taken a turn for the worst. Panky is unable to use his hind legs to walk or go to the bathroom. The vet has informed us he needs surgery which is extremely costly and we cannot afford. He is loved by so many as he is one of the most caring, loving dogs we have ever had and trying to reach out for help. <div>Jeremiah is an incredibly strong 6-year-old who is 1-year cancer free from neuroblastoma. Unfortunately, the side effects from all the previous treatment has recently caught up with Jeremiah. Jeremiah is currently inpatient and intubated at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, which is 200 miles from the family's home in Cape Coral. They are currently waiting to see if Jeremiah qualifies for a double lung transplant after being diagnosed with a serious lung fibrosis. Jeremiah is very weak at this time...

<p>Hi, I’m Laurie Seperson, and I’m fundraising for Josh Sakowitz (son of educators Amy and Herman Sakowitz). <font color="#333333"><span>Josh has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and has limited movement of his head and fingers, and no movement in the rest of his body. Currently he is in the ER (no hospital beds available)being treated for an infection and a non-functioning port that delivers life saving medication weekly.</span></font>

<p><font color="#333333"><span> The insurance company has denied Josh a working battery for his wheelchair and proper leg attachments that enable him to have some mobility and the ability to be transported to local health care providers, Memorial Hospital and Shands Medical Center in Gainesville. Josh also requires medical equipment and assistive devices so he can shower and use the toilet instead of having to wear diapers. A functional hospital bed and Hoyer lift would make transfers safer and efficient.</span></font>

Elia is currently undergoing treatment for a Wilms tumor at Joe DiMaggio Hospital. Our warrior princess recently had a biopsy and will soon start many weeks of Chemotherapy, as well as surgery.  Elia and her parents are facing many challenges ahead and need our help. Loving mother of two young Sons left to raise them on her own. Just three days after his 29th birthday her best friend and husband went into cardiac arrest and passed away leaving her to do what they once shared, on her own.  Amanda is still looking for a teaching position but until then she makes less than $1,000 a month and we all know you can't raise two sons and make the rent payment and buy food and clothing for 2 growing  boys on that.  Not to mention the doctor/hospital bills, and the funeral costs. If you can find it in your heart please help my friend provide for her family. Mom of 2 loses husband, can we help

<p>Angela Smith was a vibrant 13 year old 7th grade student at Grovetown Middle School.  On Thursday, April 28th, Angela was killed in a car accident.  <br />Her 2 year old brother was injured but is expected to survive.    Her father is a single parent with many children and could use some help with the funeral costs.  PLEASE keep this family in your prayers and donate to this good cause. </p>

Joline Unpingco left this life on April 23, 2019, after a courageous 3 1/2 year fight against a heartbreaking terminal diagnosis. She was only 40. <br /><br />This Go Fund Me Page was initially set up to help defer the substantial medical costs a diagnosis of cancer brings with it.<br /><br />Now it has become a way to honor a remarkable woman, gone too soon.  <br /><br />The figures you see represented here on this page have been collected from Feb 1, 2016. Since Joline’s death, this fund has received just over $11K.  Our goal is to collect at least $20K more to help cover the staggering financial burden this precious family of 8 now faces. Not many people are comfortable asking for financial help.  But Ray and the 7 Unpingco children have so much to bear at this moment they need us to step in and help lift some of the costs of bringing Joline home and paying for her funeral and burial expenses. <br /><br />ANY SIZE GIFT IS APPRECIATED! <br /><br />While getting treatment in the Philippines she suddenly took a dramatic turn for the worse.  She passed peacefully in her sleep. <br /><br />Joline had every hope and intention to return to her family and friends in Georgia. 2015 marks Rose’s 21st wedding anniversary, her 44th birthday and one year with cancer. As mom, wife, and working woman, like so many of us, she spent much of her adult life taking care of her family while fighting the battle of the bulge.  In December of 2013 she finally made the decision to change her life and get healthy by having weight loss surgery. It changed her life, but not as she had hoped.  Instead, the doctor found a tumor. Fifteen months later after chemo sessions, 10 hospitalizations, new tumors, and permanent fatigue, Rose’s strength has not faltered-- Neither has support or hope from family and friends. Most of us wear them every day, but we all think about it every day. You learn a lot about a disease once you have it or love someone who does. For fifteen months our family has been marking our calendars with Rose’s doctor’s appointments, attending a weekly support group, and looking for television shows with cancer specials.<br /><br />Life for Rose changed. She was always a beautiful, vivacious, and curvy woman with a zest for life. She is that person you are most disappointed to hear can’t make it to a dinner because she had to work late. She is that awesome. She was overweight for the majority of her adult life. Giving birth to three children was a blessing, but didn’t help any with the weight. Some diets worked, but the weight always came back. 2013 was the year to get healthy and make a permanent change. Instead, during weight loss surgery the doctor discovered a softball-sized tumor. It was cancer.<br /><br />Located in its fortress, the middle of the liver, the tumor was inoperable. If removed, there would not be enough of the liver left to function. The tumor and liver both stayed.  Chemotherapy began. The type of chemotherapy that kills the good, bad, and ugly. It wiped Rose out and made her sick, but better at the same time. Doctors tried different types of chemotherapy; aggressive, invasive, targeted. Until the chemotherapy stopped working. Which is where we are today. Fifteen months later.<br /><br />There are two routes Rose can take. Continue with the no-longer-as-effective chemotherapy or begin experimental treatments. This brings us to Go Fund Me. While Rose is on a trial wait list in her hometown of Miami there are other hospitals around the nation conducting experimental treatments.<br /><br />Rose never thought she would go through a college-like application process before her 16-year-old son, Ryan, did. Rose sent her application packets, consisting of medical records and test results, to the hospitals conducting trials. The next step would be an in-person interview and hopefully acceptance into the trail as a patient.<br /><br />She is scheduled to interview with New York and Boston hospitals on April 27 and 28. While we hope she stays in Miami we want her to take her talents to the doctor who can make Rose’s cancer his next victim.<br /><br />We are on Go Fund Me so that Rose can make it to her trial interviews and cover her treatment costs. Planes, trains and taxis are in her near future. The perks of a big family is that Rose has a place to stay, but needs to get there. Since she does not have much energy in the mornings or for extended periods of time, her husband will be by her side, as he has been since day one.  The medical bills and treatment costs are already piling up and the treatments will be expensive.  <br /><br />In Rose’s words she is the luckiest person in the world. “I have spent the last 15 months fighting to stay alive for my family.  They still need me.  I'm too young and have too much to give to go.  Before the cancer, I was a vibrant, healthy, but overweight, beautiful woman (I don't look the same now) with a zest for life.  My entire family has gathered around me and is supporting me in every way.
