Send Xzavior to All-American Bowl

It is rare that a Goldsboro High School student receives a national honor, but GHS running back Xzavior Bowden, after a banner year on the field, was recently invited to attend the 2018 National Combine at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January.

Xzavior is not just an incredible athlete. He volunteers at the local soup kitchen, is a member of the GHS Key Club, and never glorifies his performance - instead insisting that his many accomplishments only happen because of his teammates and a support system that includes teachers, friends, and family members.

This humble young man deserves this honor, but the costs associated with attending the event in Texas - a plane ticket for Xzavior and his coach, hotel costs, and the registration fee - are tough to absorb for any student, much less a GHS student.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Let’s get Xzavior to the Combine where he belongs so he can show the nation what the Cougar Family is really all about.
