In 2013 my father successfully beat cancer for a 2nd time. This spring I want to honor him and other cancer survivors by raising money for the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC) . Dad is very appreciative of the doctors and staff at VICC and we are grateful for the care that he received there.
On April 12, 2015 I will be running in the Vienna City Marathon . I ran multiple half marathons last year and have been training for this marathon since December. I would love to raise a total of $50 per kilometer. The marathon is 42.2 kilometers (26 miles), so a total of $2,110.00 . Any donation that you can make is greatly appreciated.
Cancer and its impact on the patient and loved ones are too daunting a health challenge to be conquered easily or without a true team effort.
