Recovery of Shane & Crystal Yeager

Donation protected
We are at a loss for words due to a tragic accident that involved our family in a head on collision due to a drunk driver. Shane Yeager, loving father, husband, son, grandfather and brother has been fighting for his life in the Sacred Heart ICU since January 13, 2018. Shane was critically injured in the head on collision that took his life for 8 minutes but the doctors were able to revive him. The severity of his injuries costed him his leg up to the mid thigh. He had internal bleeding which required major surgery. He is currently on kidney dialysis for kidney failure and his bladder is lacerated. His pelvis is broken in several places which requires being held together by metal rods until Shanes condition improves, and is stable enough for the required life threatening 6 hour surgery. Both of Shanes wrists are broken and he has already had surgery on both of his wrists. Shanes neck is fractured and it will require surgery in the upcoming weeks. His ankle and heel are broken and he will receive a surgery procedure for both of those as well. He will also need to have surgery for the tendons in his fingers. Shane is still considered critical and his life is still risk due to the many major surgeries ahead.

Shanes wife Crystal yeager, loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother was also a victim in the collision. Crystals injuries are severe, and just as heartbreaking. Her back is broken in three different places and she has received sugery that put her in a back brace for the months ahead. Her left arm, right leg and ribs are broken. Her broken arm and leg required major surgery. Her kidney was lacerated that caused internal bleeding but has healed on its own, and her pelvis is fractured. With the Lord by her side, her healing chances will improve one day at a time.

These funds will help with medical costs that may not get covored. But most importantly, help the family during this tragic time. The family will need help with trasnportation since Shane and Crystal were driving Shanes mothers only car. She has no transportation to see her son and daughter in law at the hospital in downtown Spokane Washington. The funds will help with resources such as food, trasnportation, lodging and any upcoming medical costs. The home of Shanes mother Lois, will need reconstrusted due to the fact that Shane and Crystal reside with her. They will need funds to build wheelchair ramps, and any other handicap accessiable construction needed. The inside of the home will need some major remodeling based on the injuries of the victims. The use of the funds can be endless.

The family is in urgant need of small  funds now for the transportation, food, lodging and self care. It is important that the family take care of themselves while Shane and Crystal are healing so that they can stay strong for them.

Please consider donating to the cause, but if you are unable to help finacially, we urge you to please share this page. ANY HELP will be useful during these hard times. God is with us. Please send prayers to the family during this time of heartbreak and needs. Thank you for taking the time to read their story. God Bless.
