PILLOW TALK is an original work by Cristina Camacho (Macho), debuting at Atlanta's Dance 411 studios. Experimenting with sound, the work focuses on highlighting various aspects of music, particularly vocal harmony and percussion. Composed of a group of talented dancers from diverse backgrounds, PILLOW TALK uses an eclectic vocabulary of movement to capture the fragility and sensuality of intimate relationships.
Sending a cast of 7 dancers to Atlanta from Washington, DC is not cheap! Costs include travel (flight + uber), stay, costume, and food. All dancers are participating voluntarily, driven by their love of dance, travel. and Macho. It is her hope that through this opportunity, her dancers will be recognized by talent representatives, including those of agency 411 South. This could potentially prompt their dance careers forward, presenting new opportunities for performance, training, and industry work. While this goal amount will not cover the full cost of participation, it will most certainly help.

DANCE411, home of talent agency 411 South, is a studio in Atlanta hosting classes of all genres for youth and adults. "The Floor is Yours" is their first adult showcase, inviting creative artists from all backgrounds to celebrate the best dancers & choreographers in the industry. Acceptance into this show would not have been possible without the support of the DMV community - a special thank you to all of the friends and family that voted on Instagram!
