The Original Movie Game began around the table of a Chinese restaurant. BrickHaus Games founders Chris Bricklemyer and Frank Hauser, along with friends, would go around the table, talking about movies and movie trivia.
The game went around the table, linking movies to actors and then back to movies and so on. That formed the basis for Act Two of the game.
Act One, where players give three clues to the title of a movie, grew from a game Frank played with his children during trips in the car.
The combination of the two parts formed the basis for the final version of The Original Movie Game.
It is our genuine hope that our love of movies shines through and that you have as much fun playing the game as we've had developing it.
Your contribution will help us produce the initial 100-card Main Set and begin developing Expansion Packs.
