The time has flown since our first “Immortal Regiment” procession on the streets of San Francisco on May 9th, 2015. And already, just around the corner is the 71st anniversary of the Great Victory.
Last year, over 200 people took part in the “Immortal Regiment” procession celebrating the Great Victory’s 70th anniversary. We are so grateful to everyone who came and paraded in the celebratory columns with portraits of participants of the war. On this day of the Great Victory, people of different nationalities, cultures and religions were united in remembrance of our Army and Naval veterans, home front workers, prisoners of the Nazi camps, siege survivors, partisan resistance fighters, intelligence officers, and so many more who made the ultimate sacrifice for peace. Their memories marched alongside us in the triumphant procession.
This year’s “Immortal Regiment”, dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the Great Victory over Nazi Germany, will take place May 8th, 2016.
The event will begin at 9am with a motorcade, leading up to the main part- the “Immortal Regiment” procession. After the triumphant parade everyone is invited to a concert with refreshments.
The route of motorcade will run as follows: start point in Golden Gate Park (entrance from 43rd Ave. to Chain of Lakes Dr. E across Bercut Equestrian Field, Parking Lot) → Left to Lincoln Way → Frederick Street → Stanyan St → Geary Blvd. → 25th Ave. → El Camino Del Mar → Lincoln Blvd. → Kobbe Ave. → Washington Blvd. Parking Lot → West Coast WWII Memorial → Washington Blvd. Parking Lot → Lincoln Blvd. → Merchant Rd. → 101 South → Marina Blvd. → Bay St. → Embarcadero St. → finish destination is Broadway St. Parking Lot.
The place of festive concert is confirming. Wait for updates.
This event will be organized by the funds raised by you, our friends! We have to do it no matter what! Every dollar raised will be spent for the organization of this event: the special event location, the concert arrangement (audio equipment rental, the invitation of artistic collectives), the creation of attributives of Immortal Regiment, the creation of banners, balloons, t-shirts and also setting up food stands. We also plan on aiding the rental of vehicles for war veterans as well as the service of professional photo-video recording.

Быстро пролетело время с первого шествия колонны Бесмертного полка по улицам Сан-Франциско, которое состоялось 9 мая 2015 года. И вот уже скоро мы будем отмечать 71-ю годовщину Великой Победы.
В шествии Бессмертного полка в честь 70-летия Победы приняло участие около 200 человек. Выражаем признательность всем, кто прошёл в праздничной колонне с портретами участников войны. Люди разных национальностей, культур, разного вероисповедания в этот день Великой Победы были объединены пямятью о наших ветеранах армии и флота, труженниках тыла, узниках фашистких лагерей, блокадниках, партизанах, военных разведчиках, бойцах сопротивления. И все те, кто отдал свои жизни за мир, прошли вместе с нами в победном строю.
В этом году шествие Бессмертного полка, приуроченное к 71 годовщине Победы над фашистский Германией, будет проводиться 8 мая 2016 г. Мероприятие начнётся в 9:00 утра с авто-мотопробега, после которого пройдёт шествие Бессмертного полка. После победного шествия все приглашаются на концерт и угощение.
Маршрут авто-мото пробега следущий: начальная точка отправления Golden Gate Park (въезд с 43rd Ave. to Chain of Lakes Dr. E напротив Bercut Equestrian Field, Парковка) → поворачиваем налево на Lincoln Way → Frederick Street → Stanyan St → Geary Blvd. → 25th Ave. → El Camino Del Mar → Lincoln Blvd. → Kobbe Ave. → Washington Blvd. Парковка → West Coast WWII Memorial → Washington Blvd. Парковка → Lincoln Blvd. → Merchant Rd. → 101 South → Marina Blvd. → Bay St. → Embarcadero St. → окончание пробега на Broadway St. Парковка.

Данное мероприятие будет организовано за счёт средств собранных вами друзья.
