Help Mason Family Be Mobile Again
From Barry Mason:
"My wife, Marcianna, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, she underwent aggressive radiation treatment as well as a partial mammectomy to remove tumors as well as had a large number of lymph nodes removed. She made it through the treatment and was given the all clear. Fast forward to 2015 and during a family vacation she started to experience severe pain in her back, upon returning home she visited the doctor and was informed that the breast cancer had metastasized into her bones, nearly destroying her spine in the process. We were told that beyond extension of life there was nothing they could do and the cancer was now terminal.
Later on, a freak accident caused her to fall and break both femurs in her legs and her left ankle. Due to the bones being weakened by the cancer we have been told her legs will never heal strong enough for her to walk again and she must live the rest of her life in a wheelchair.
Our needs are to raise €6000 ($7,060 USD) to purchase a vehicle that has been converted with a wheelchair lift in the back. Without such a vehicle my wife will spend the vast majority of the time she has left unable to leave the house beyond the occasional trip around the block if someone is pushing her or to the hospital for treatments by taxi."
Barry Mason lives in the Netherlands with his beautiful wife, Marcianna, and their youngest, Alexandria (10). Barry and Marcianna will soon be married for 12 years and they have 4 children, with the three oldest all grown up and on their own.
Please help this family become mobile once again and make their lives easier. As you can imagine, this is a huge stress not just on one person but the entire family. They should be more worried about other things instead of how they were going to travel to doctor appointments or family events. Even if you're only able to donate a little, it will help so much.
