Kathy's Cancer medical fund

Cancer is such a scary word, no matter who it applies to, a friend, family member, or yourself. In my case, it's me who it applies to.

I havent had a job in almost two years, and have no insurance. I live in Section 8 (HUD) housing and am on food stamps. I have no income coming in, and yet I have medical bills (past, present and upcoming) staring me in the face. I don't know what to do, but I thought coming here to set up a medical fund for myself may be an option.

Let me explain what's going on:  I am two weeks out from having a complete hysterectomy. Test results show that there was/is cancer present, not only uterine but ovarian as well. Yes, the organs  have been removed, but my doctor plans to send me to an oncologist for more tests (biopsy, hospital stay, and possibly radiation/chemo depending on what is found.)

That's why I'm here. I'm hoping that there are enough amazing, generous, beautifyl people out there who have the heart and means to donate, to help me with  my medical bills. Medications, hospital, doctors, travel expenses - anything that comes with a health issue such as this. I set my goal as $20,000, but I assure you, anything is appreciated. As for how soon it's needed, now is obvious, but more to come would be great, as I have no idea what other expenses I'll be faced with.
