John Batchelder's medical fund

My name is Ryan Batchelder. I am trying to raise some money on behalf of my Father, John Batchelder.  He was diagnosed with lung cancer back on 4-20-14 which happened to be Easter Sunday.  I spent my whole Easter and the following 3 days by my Dad's side in the hospital when he was diagnosed.  On that 4th day he was so happy that he was able to go home.  Later, we received a bill from the hospital for $25,000 which just included that 4 day visit.  As the months passed, the bills only accumulated with all of the chemo treatments and Dr. vistis.  My Father did not have medical insurance.  The hospital got him enrolled in a program for "free" health care, however now the Insurance Companies are coming after everything.  Due to the fact that my Dad was under 55 years old when he passed, the insurance companies are coming after me and want payment for thousands of dollars for unpaid treatment, that I just don't have.  They could try to take my house, the last thing that I want is to lose the one thing that my Dad left for me and that is my childhood home.  I want to thank everyone in advance for your generosity of any size donation that you can make, and for taking the time out of your day to read my story.  I am very thankful for everyone in my life and know that every little bit helps!
