My son Jaxon has ROHHAD. Rapid onset obesity, with hypothalamic dysfunction, hypoventilation, autonomic disregulation.
He is one of less then 100 children world wide.
Jaxon battles daily to just survive, while ROHHAD takes him piece by piece.
This syndrome is a mystery. One with no cure or even treatment plan due to its rarity.
Jaxon is 6 years old. He is the bravest person I know. He is my superhero.

Jaxon is a palliative care patient. His care is now focused on quality of life and comfort. He's essentially living on borrowed time. He requires many medications, wheelchair, oxygen, ventilator support and many more adaptations and assistance.
Like many 6 year olds Jaxon has many amazing dreams, ideas and wishes. Unlike most 6 year olds Jaxon doesn't have a lifetime to fulfill his dreams.
I asked Jaxon "If you could do anything, what would you do"?..........
1. Get married to Wonder Woman (he's already proposed)
2. Meet the Hulk
3.Show & shines and Mud bogs.....As many as there is
4. Hot Springs......ALL the Hot Springs
5. More camping and fishing in my Superhero Wish trailer
6. See the Ocean and the beach
7.Have a Nerf battle (his last one was canceled because he was too sick to participate)
8. Try so many water parks
9. Ride a steam train
10. Drive on a muddy race track
11. See a real Airplane
12. Grow a garden
13. Play with and feed baby piglets
14. Shoot a real gun
15. Touch a waterfall
16. Sit in a monster truck
17. See all the amazing motorbikes
Please help me continue to meet Jaxon's medical needs and help his dreams come true. Jaxon currently needs a continuous pulse oximetry monitor and a hospital bed at home to keep him safe while he sleeps. These bigger items are in addition to his regular everyday medical expenses for things like medication that insurance won't cover because he has a pre existing condition, oxygen and oxygen tubing, non vented masks for his ventilator, maintenance of his current equipment, therapy items and more.
