Cheryl's Fighting Cancer Fund

I have started this fundraiser for Cheryl, hoping that it will help her get through this hard time. As some of you may or may not know, I'm Sommer her son Chris's girlfriend but also, the mother of one of her lovely granddaughters. I have become real close with her and think of her as a mother of my own.

 

Recently Cheryl was diagnosed with cancer. As a hair dresser, with a one person household income, this news has become very fearsome to say the least. The fear of not knowing, how she will feel after chemo, or when she does feel better: how long she will be able to stand on her feet, or how many of her clients will remain her clients not knowing her stability, is constantly on her mind.

 

I wanted to set this up hoping it would help keep her stress level down, while going through the chemo. I have no doubt she is a strong women and can fight with the support of her family and friends. But knowing that she might be able to stay in her own home, with her dogs and feel more comfortable, I think would make this nightmare much more manageable.

 

I hope she doesn't kill me for setting this up, because I know she would never ask for financial help from anyone. However, to me it will be worth her being angry, to see her stress free, happy, feeling better and back to normal as soon as possible. I know her sons, grandkids and myself would really appreciate it.
