My name is Shonda Lemaster! I am creating this gofundme in hopes to help with the financial stress that my Uncle & Aunt are faced with unexpectedly!

Kyle & Erica Unger, of Berkeley Springs WV, along with their two beautiful children, Khloe & Kamden have had a terribly stressful past month.

Anyone who knows Kyle & Erica, knows they are avid hunters & love the outdoors!

On December 11, 2022 as Erica was climbing down from her tree stand, she fell several feet resulting in severe fractures of both ankles. For the last month, she has been in a wheelchair, and will continue to be that way for at least a few more weeks. Erica is in walking boots, but is strictly limited to little to no weight bearing. The physical, mental & emotional stress has taken a toll on her healing. She has a follow up at the end of the month to re evaluate her fractures and determine if they have healed enough to avoid surgery

As many of you know, Kyle & Erica are both extremely hard workers. They do not ask for anything from anyone!! They always do whatever it takes to never need help from anyone! But they are always there to help others, no matter what!

Erica has worked in healthcare her entire adult life! She also does Taxidermy on the side. Kyle has worked for Clark's for many years & does woodworking on the side. On top of all of that, they have a farm to keep going, animals to take care of, & of course their two children!

It has been a month since Erica's accident & they have done everything possible to keep their heads above water without any help. Their insurance is putting up a fight and their savings is drained. With the unknown time frame of when Erica will be able to work again, I am asking for help for this family! Anything you can offer is GREATLY appreciated! Even if you can only offer prayers! Everything helps! I know they would never ask for help, because that's just who they are. & I 100% understand and respect that! But I can only personally help so much & I know how strong our community is when someone needs help! You were all so amazing for Chad & I 3 years ago with his accident. ❤️
