Zeke Bettelyoun and family

Earlier this week, my sister Alexandria went into early labor and had their son at 35 weeks. He was immediately cared for as a premature baby, and my sister was taken into surgery with post labor issues. She returned to her room to find that her husband and baby were being flown to Sioux Falls so that Zeke could undergo surgery as well.

Along with having to repair his intestinal malrotation, the doctors removed the part of his intestines that wasn't working and reattached the working parts. His appendix was also removed.

Their family is torn apart right now, as her husband tries to manage taking care of his wife and new son, who both just had surgery, and the rest of their family, who is three hours away.

He has already missed a week of work, and their journey to healing is only beginning.

Please consider helping my sister and her family as they try to navigate the hard weeks ahead. Hopefully, they can move forward without the added stress of the missing income while all the medical, travel, and food expenses come rolling in, right before Christmas.
