Support Peggy

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I'm fundraising to help Peggy and her family through a difficult time. Recently, Peggy was diagnosed with breast cancer and is about to undergo chemotherapy, followed by a mastectomy. As an adjunct counselor, Peggy's income will be severely impacted by her inability to work during this time spent focusing on her health. In addition, with 2 young children and a husband who recently experienced health issues of his own, it would be extremely helpful if we could supplement Peggy's lost income during this time.

Peggy has had reservations about starting this page as she is very independent and soliciting help is uncommon for her, but has agreed due to the severity of her condition and the impact the loss of income will have on her family.
