Dave has been hospitalized since July 2 with 3rd degree heart blockage. After testing they have determined it is Lyme disease and that he got bit within the past 30 days. The Lyme disease is attacking his heart and it is a very rare symptom of Lyme that is short circuiting and dropping his heart rate as low as the 20's. He is receiving heavy Antibiotics administered through IV to kill the bacteria attacking his heart and if that doesn't work a pacemaker will be inserted to keep his heart running. He will also be on antibiotics for a very extended period as well. If anyone knows about Lyme Disease it can be debilitating. He is only 29 years old.
We have 3 sons and obviously David isn't going to be able to work until this is cleared up. As a landscaper he may not be able to go back to work for a while if at all.
I am a stay-at-home mom caring for our our 3 boys, Chris 5, Josh 3 and Michael 1. Once Dave is well enough, he may be able to care for the kids, being with them during the day and I will be able to get a job to bring in some income.
We have so many expenses coming at us right now and I don’t want to burdon our families financially. They are already doing so much to help us.
