It’s not just hair.

This is my best friend, her name is Brianne. We met in 7th grade and we’re at each others house everyday until we graduated. She’s 38, a wife, a mom of 3, a teacher, a daughter, and a friend to more people than you can imagine. She has never met a stranger and would give anybody the shirt off her back. She’s done it, too many times to count. Bri just went through the unimaginable. She got diagnosed with breast cancer at age 38. She had a double mastectomy a couple months ago, lymph nodes came back negative, and we genuinely thought she was in the clear. Doc had different plans and suggested 8 rounds of chemo. Not just any chemo, the strongest type. She will lose all of her hair. Through all of this Bri has been strong, steady, and graceful. She is having the hardest time with the fact that she is losing all of her hair. “It’s not just hair”, she says. And it’s not.

Through this she deserves to feel the best she possibly can. I’m starting this go fund me to help with the costs of a real lightweight, human hair wig. Let me add in, she lives in Florida and it gets HOT in the summertime. The inexpensive wigs would suffocate her. The one she tried on and loved costs $3924.75. Her insurance is paying a measly $40. So, that’s my goal. Help Bri pay for her wig. Anything helps and if you are able to donate, I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
