Support for Ben's family

The hardest goodbyes are the ones that happen too soon. We lost our dear friend Ben very suddenly to cancer. Within weeks of his diagnosis, his family have lost him, a loving father, husband, brother and son, and its been a huge shock to everyone who loved him. Ben was funny, creative, gentle and kind, and touched the hearts of so many people. Our gentle giant.

As a professional photographer, Ben was self-employed. Any support is incredibly welcome to help the Blossom family with funeral costs and life ahead. As those of us who knew and loved Ben want to show support for his family, I've set-up this fund to help ensure that his wife Phoebe and his boys JJ and Louis don't have to worry quite so much about the future.

On the day my own husband disappeared, Ben was at my door and sat with me while I waited for news. I will never forget the support he gave our family in our most difficult time. And I'm not the only one. He gave so much to his community, from coaching at football practice, sharing his photography skills, winning at basketball, volunteering at the boys school, playing with little ones.... he was generous and caring and gregarious and open-hearted.

Ben was taken from his family much too soon. With his loss their lives will be very different. Providing some financial support might help them cover costs and support Phoebe in parenthood. And its something we can do when it feels like there is very little.
