Erin delivered her baby girl early, I believe around 22 weeks. Baby Abigail passed away prior to/during labor and Erin passed away soon after due to complications. Erin leaves behind her son, two step-sons, and her husband. Below are comments/updates from her husband, Joe.

"I've never been so scared in my life until tonight. Erin became ill while in labor to delivery our daughter. Around 9pm Abigail Hope was delivered into the hands of Jesus. A few hours later Erin became unresponsive. God used the amazing doctors and nurses here at Vidant to get her heart beating again. They are working to get her stabilized now. Thank you for praying. We aren't out of the woods yet but I know our God is able."

"I'm sitting here waiting for my boys to wake up. Last night there baby sister went to be with Jesus. Later Erin had complications post-pardom. The Drs did everything they could. Working on her for more than four hours. But in the end we lost her. Please keep our family in prayer during this very difficult time. Erin, I love you so much and already miss you more than I can express."
