Dear Family & Friends,

On Tuesday morning, May 23, 2017, I received a phone call that my son Zach was on life support at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida over 1100 miles away. Within the hour my daughter Elizabeth and I collected a few belongings and headed to Columbus to get on the first flight out to be by his side. When we arrived we were greeted by Zach's supportive and loving friends and we could quickly see why he would choose to live in Florida.


We are still collecting information from the medical team here but he is currently in an induced coma and unable to breathe on his own. I will share more information as it becomes available but I hope that anyone reading this understands that this has been my worse nightmare and no parent should ever have to face making life and death decisions for their child.

Please keep the prayers coming and know that I could not have gotten through the last 3 days without my parents, Sharon and Phil Crawford, my kids Paige, Hope, Dom and Elizabeth, Zach's friends back in Ohio, his Florida crew (especially Ashley & Drew), my partner in life- John Fisher, dear friends Jody, Brandy & Jenna, and our many friends and co-workers at Advance Auto.

Because we are out-of-state, the medical bills are already overwhelming. We are not sure how long we will be here and are staying in a nearby hotel. Any funds collected will be used to cover those expenses.
