Fundraiser for the Wallace Family.

This go-fund me has been set up for the family of Derrick Wallace . Derrick had been battling covid, and sadly on Monday, August 9, 2021, Derrick lost his battle to covid. Derrick leaves behind his wife Jessica, and his 19 year-old daughter Maddi. Jessica was also hospitalized with covid symptoms that same night. At this time she is still recovering in the hospital.

The money raised from this fund raiser will go to Jessica and Maddi, to help pay for funeral expenses, or for any expenses they may incur as Jessica continues to recover.

This family holds such a special place in our hearts. Living next door to them, my son Jared, and Maddi spent much of their childhood together, along with Jack Lewis, and the three of them have always been close friends. Jared spent much of his childhood at the Wallace home, and I am so proud of him for being there for Maddi during the most difficult time of her life.

Please continue to keep Jessica in your prayers, and continue to pray for complete healing as she fights covid. And keep the prayers coming for sweet Maddi. And for Jessica’s mom, and the family. Our hearts, and the communities hearts are broken for this precious family.

Maddi’s friends wanted to set this fundraiser up to help the family. I know that any donation will be greatly appreciated by the family.
