Christmas gifts for children in Essex
Donazione protetta
Earlier this year a group of 5 year olds walked five miles to raise money to buy toys and books for children less fortunate than them.
They did an amazing job, raising over £2000 which we used to buy toys and books for Southend Food Bank and its service users.
Now as Christmas draws closer and the cost of living crisis takes its toll on families nationwide, year one children from Blenheim Primary will undertake another 5 mile walk to raise money for Christmas presents for children who may otherwise go without.
So on Sunday 26th November we’ll be walking from Shoeburyness Station along the front to Rossi’s ice cream parlour. If you can afford to donate they would all be hugely grateful.
Donations will be used to purchase toys and books from local independent retailers and distributed to children through Southend Communities Outreach Group Food Bank.
