My name is Austin Adams and I am a 3rd year architecture student at Syracuse University. I have an amazing opportunity to expand my knowledge base and conceptual vision this summer by studying Abroad throughout Asia (specifically Tokyo, Taipei, and Shanghai). Unfortunately the budget for this enlightening and ironically “priceless” experience is well above what I can feasibly afford. I’m asking for $10K which is a great deal of money, but these funds would help cover the full expense of tuition. 

The history of Asian architecture is as beautiful as it is diverse. Lectures and textbooks can’t convey the true artistry and craftsmanship of these works. Over the centuries these countries and cultures have compiled a broad range of style design techniques that can be useful tools in the progression of my architectural education. Going to Asia to study & personally witnessing the relationship between classic creations of old world history and the ingenious modern design intertwined within is something that can only be understood through physical interaction. Visiting these magnificent places is what helps shape the visions of future architects like myself. Please know that there is no donation too small and all contributions are welcomed & greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and attention to my request and plight.

With help from Syracuse Financial Aid and other means I am able to cover the out of pocket fees and most of the program fee. I am only asking for help with actual tuition fee. The cost breakdown for the program is as follows:
