Amy Bethel Medical Expenses

We’re reaching out to our friends and family because Amy Bethel is in need of financial assistance for a total hip replacement surgery. Like many older Abaco residents, Amy does not have insurance coverage. She also lost her home and has been displaced from Elbow Cay for much of the time since Hurricane Dorian, creating further financial strain.

As anyone who knows Amy would know, she would do just about anything for anyone, if it was within her means. However, she never wants to ask for assistance for herself, so it was not easy for her to allow this to be put out there - except alternative options are minimal.

If you can assist in any way, she will greatly appreciate it, as it would put her one step closer to regaining her previous mobility. Her doctor advised this type of surgery has a very high success rate and can be life changing for those that need it. Surgery is scheduled for September 7, 2021, and estimated to costs $35,000.
