Moataz Salah
A Man Who Strives to Save Lives
Moataz works for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip. He is patient and steadfast.
He loves this initiative because it saves lives.
He was contacted after receiving reports of casualties and martyrs in a house.
He contacted the Red Cross and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Efforts to Save Lives and Recover Martyrs.
Upon arriving at the scene and entering the burning house, the area was bombed, and Mu'taz suffered third-degree burns. He bled for hours until the ambulance and the rest of Mu'taz's team arrived.
Moataz suffers from:
Third-degree burns, the most severe type of skin burn, which penetrate all layers of the skin and reach the nerve and fatty tissues. It has also been found that some affected areas include muscles and bones.
Mu'taz needs immediate care: Third-degree burns are medical emergencies requiring treatment in specialized burn centers
or travel outside of Gaza
