Harley Update!

Harley had her surgery last Wednesday and I’m thrilled to say—she’s doing stupendous! She’s got her energy back, eating like a champ, and everything is functioning just as it should. Nurse Olive has taken her duties very seriously, conducting multiple health checks daily and keeping her bestie company. ‍⚕️

Her wound is healing beautifully, and I couldn’t be more relieved and grateful. As we get ready to head north in the coming weeks, I just want to thank everyone again for the love, help, and support you've shown us during this time.

We’ll keep this update up for a few more days, but just wanted to say—we’re healthy, happy, and excited for our next chapter. CHEERS to that!! ✨

Help Harley Get the Surgery She Deserves

Hello, my name is Paula, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my beloved dog, Harley. She is more than just a pet—she's family. Through the years, Harley has been my loyal companion, bringing me comfort, joy, and unconditional love. Now, she needs our help.

Harley has developed a tumor on her backside. While it isn’t causing her much pain yet, the vet confirmed, that even though we have sucessfully treated the tumor (naturally & has been reabsorbed) in the past FOUR TIMES, it is NOW growing quickly & will become a serious issue if left untreated. She needs surgery as soon as possible to ensure a long, healthy life. After a number of clinics that were giving me ridiculous estimates, I have landed on a trusted collegue at the South Miami Animal Clinic.

Unfortunately, the cost of surgery and aftercare is $3800. If they have to do radiation, it will be another $800.00. This is a little beyond what I can afford right now. That’s why I’m turning to you. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to saving Harley. I just moved into a new home and I am starting a new job in a couple of weeks. So, this has been a financially challenging time as well.

Harley has been my rock through unthinkable loss. After my fiance passed away, I rescued and adopted Harley for my son Nathanael; to bring light into our lives. Then, just three years later, I lost my son during an evacuation effort when Hurricane Irma swept through Florida.

In that darkest time, Harley rescued me, and she does so every day. She is my family now. I can’t imagine life without her, and I’m determined to do everything I can to give her the care she needs.
