Ciara’s Recovery Journey

Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. I have decided to create this Go Fund Me account to help support my younger cousin Ciara and her family with her battle against Leukaemia.
For those who are unaware ; Leukaemia is a type of blood cancer that affects the bone marrow and can cause rapid production of abnormal and cancerous blood cells in the body.
Leukaemia often occurs in adults older than 55 but unfortunately is also the most common form of cancer in children younger than 15.
Heartbreakingly this April 2024, Ciara was diagnosed with Leukaemia at the age of 14.
Over the next 8+ months, Ciara will undergo intensive treatments including chemotherapy and various operations to have a better chance of beating cancer.
Chemotherapy will be starting this following week and she has already been told that her beautiful hair will unfortunately start to fall over the next couple of weeks. Despite hearing this and with great support from her Family, Friends & the NHS. Ciara is a positive young lady and is determined to beat cancer. We couldn’t be prouder and admire her positivity and strength!
Any funds that we are able to raise together will be directly given to Ciara and her family to help fund this journey of beating Leukaemia & Cancer. As well as providing her a better future ahead of her.
