Justice for Joe

Donation protected
Hi everyone, I’m Joseph’s little sister. Joe passed away very unexpected on September 28, at 4:40 am.
My brother was in custody for a warrant for a 2016 case - classes he didn’t complete. He was taken to Valleywise hospital from jail he was there for 2 days. We had no idea he was even there. My mom would call the jail 2 times a day just to check on him and they would tell us he’s doing great. When released from the hospital he was transported back to jail in the county van. He was alone in the back of that and fell on the floor. The officer thought he was laying on the floor because he was tired. but did they even bother to check on him??? No! He had no pulse for 10 minutes - they performed CPR for 20 minutes and then dumped him at Banner UMC. He was unresponsive, body temp 31, faint pulse, and internal bleeding. My mom gets a text from banner that he has checked in. My mom calls and they tell us he’s not there. We call jail and they tell me he’s in his cell and doing okay. After battling with the police we finally get to see him hours later on life support. No brain activity and his face is swollen nothing compared to his mug shot! I want the Sheriff’s office to be held responsible for what they did to my brother. We will never stop fighting for you Joe ❤️

There is so much more to be told, no one’s stories that were told to my mom and I at the hospital were the same. His doctors don’t even know how he got to this point. They want answers as much as we do. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated, it will go to legal fees, an attorney, and medical cost.
