Divorce Legal Fees

The father of my children (kai and kier) [redacted], have been exploiting my kindness to him. I have accommodated his demands and instead of being respectful and civil, he has resulted to drastic measures to get what he wants - to continue to inflict pain to me, putting the boys in the middle to choose which is not fair. He made threats before that next time he has the boys, he will not bring them back. He made true to that threat and has not returned the boys to their home as of November 27, 2022. I have lost contact with them since November 19, 2022.

Back in Okinawa, Japan, he had abandoned me and our children to be with another woman. He left to supposedly attend his father's funeral but ended up meeting with a lawyer and had me served with the divorce paper. In that paper he wanted to take custody of the boys claiming I am an unfit mother - while I took care of them by myself for 2 plus months as he went on dates back in Oregon.

He has been withholding important legal documents which caused us to not be able to go out the country and visit family in the Philippines. He has been abusing his power being the other parent insisting He has to approve everything that I do for the boys, thus putting everything on hold which in return makes me feel I am still under his control as I was when we were married.

I am going to take him back to court to amend our divorce decree, to avoid further stress for me and the boys. He may seemed to have portrayed a loving husband and father to us before, but he has been mentally and emotionally abusing me. I ask for your help, any amount would be of great help to pay for the legal fees. I am a single mother to 2 boys, earning minimum wage here in Florida, USA, doing my best to make ends meet. I need your help to show him that he no longer has power over me.
