On Monday 24th of September 2018, Emily Bartley, a loving wife and devoted mother lost her life giving aid to a stranger who had been involved in a road accident. This tragic loss has had a devastating affect on Emily’s family and our wider hills community.
In Emily’s honour, we, a committee formed by friends of the family, put on a FAMILY FUN DAY to celebrate her vibrant personality and help raise money for her husband John and their young family. The money raised from the day, including the silent auction and all that is donated here and not used for the day will be used as the family sees fit.
Food vans, rides, face painting, music and entertainment and market stalls made for a great family day out with something for everyone.
This page is set up for businesses and individuals to contribute financially to the running of Emily’s family fun day. Any and all contributions are gratefully received in order for us to run a successful day and raise as much money for this deserving family!
The money will be temporarily deposited into an account that was set up for the Bartley Family Fun Day Committee, in the name of Rebecca Williams, and will be given to John Bartley once all monies have cleared along with all funds raised on the day.
