My English is not the greatest so I have asked my daughter Brenda to write this on my behalf.

I come from a family of 10 siblings who have just endured one of the most devastating moments of their lives. From November 19–21 2025, a sudden and severe flood swept through their village in Dien Khanh, Khanh Hoa. A village located 10 km from Nha Trang City. In just a couple of days, the water destroyed almost everything they owned. Their homes, their belongings, their livestock, even their food storage. All of it gone.

My siblings are hardworking people who have never asked anyone for help. They have always done everything on their own, even when life in Vietnam is already tough. In Vietnam, the average person works 7 days a week, long hours and making around $300 Canadian Dollars a month in Nha Trang.

There is no insurance coverage and minimal government support to help families recover after disasters like this.

I am creating this GoFundMe because I want to give them a chance to start over. Even the smallest donation will help them buy food, clothing, and basic necessities to get them back on their feet. It will help them fix what is left of their home and find some stability after losing so much so fast.

Our family has contributed as much as we can, but it’s still not enough to cover the overwhelming damage experienced by multiple family members.
