World University Championships Fundraiser!

Hi! My name is Amelia, and I'm a sprint canoe athlete.

I first started paddling at the Rideau Canoe Club when my parents signed me up for their summer camp. I absolutely loved it, and I noticed that some of the older athletes had the opportunity to represent Canada overseas. This became my goal as well.

Five years, countless kilometers paddled, three COVID lockdowns, and many early mornings later, I've been nominated to my first international regatta - The World University Championships in Poland!!

I'm so excited to finally race wearing the maple leaf! Given that I am a university student, I am looking for help to make this happen. I hope you will consider donating to my fundraiser!
