Hello, I’m Daniel Mulcahy and I’m raising money for my father, William, or as many of you know “Pirate Bill” and his funeral costs. With a heavy heart, he passed away in the early hours of October 1st. In November of 2021, he was rediagnosed with throat cancer. Unfortunately, he was not a candidate for radiation since he previously had radiation in 2015, which had put him into remission. He underwent a laryngectomy (removal of the larynx or area with the voice box) in January of 2022 putting him back into remission again. The cancer spread to his skin around April/May 2022 with a terminal diagnosis. He underwent some more external radiation and one round of chemo for palliative care and pain reduction. It was a long battle but I’m incredibly proud of him and happy he as peace. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Services are not yet planned.
